Introduction

Most of you may know me as "The Flying Bachelorette" and if you follow that blog- you know that I have a few other passions besides the dating related.

Working as a flight attendant wasn't my plan 3 years ago....life doesn't always go as planned.  If you asked me as a college student where I saw myself in 2011...I would tell you I saw myself using my Bachelor of Fine Arts, Design degree.  Doing what exactly? My interests were broad: I enjoyed print media, advertising, digital design, and most of all logo & branding design.

Today- that still remains true with one exception.  I have developed a love for aviation, travel and airlines after three years of being completely sucked into the addicting subculture of this industry.  Being a flight attendant is a tough job- but one that has afforded me the opportunity to broaden my horizons by seeing different parts of our country and the world.  Each city we fly to has it's own personality in the cabin, some cities in the US feel like you are in another country, and no matter where I go- I always find something interesting.

So I am a flight attendant. I am a graphic designer. I am a blogger.  My dream is to combine both passions for aviation and design to work for an airline, a creative company that designs for airlines, or an airline's magazine, as a graphic designer.  This blog will be all about great designs past & present related to the airline industry.  Every once in awhile I'll mention some things about being a flight attendant. But now is the time to refocus my energy on what I love.
